Eddy Spaghetti Penguins Blog

This, very simply put, has been a very derivative blog from the beginning.

Since I don’t have time to update it as much as I would like, the originality of the content has suffered. The diversity on the other hand has been exquisite. Short posts, long posts, bold text, videos, beards, podcasts, you name it.

Jack of all trades. Master of dick.

But at the end of the day, if you want to learn some shit about the Pens? Go to Empty Netters. Want to laugh your balls off? The Pensblog. Video content? Jimmy and his Yinz empire. Podcasts? Well, no one has done a good regular podcast yet but they take forever to do right, so that’s not a shock.

However, there is one area I believe is ripe for Eddy Spaghetti to migrate to. Twitter.

It’s this simple. I am going to run the OhNoEddy account like a blog. You’re watching the game. So am I. But to this point you were missing all the hilarious Back To The Future 2 references and explicit beastiality jokes I make at Pierre McGuire’s expense.

I will make you three promises:

• The updates will not be automatic notification of new blog posts. Mainly because I am not going to update this site as much. In fact, I might just put my Twitter updates here. You will get original content: guaranteed.

• You can only be so brilliant in 140 characters, but I will strive to swing for a decent batting average. I’m assuming that anyone following me watches most Pens games so my updates will be less “news” (exp: Hossa scores. 2-0 Wings) and more “metaphor-dependent commentary” (exp: Hossa scores. It feels like my soul got raped in the face). If that makes sense.

• It will ONLY be about the Penguins. You’re not going to hear about the “awesome sandwich” I just ate. I don’t care how fucking good it is, unless it’s fed to me by Luca Caputi’s mom, you ain’t gonna hear about it.

Anywho, it’s a brave new world kids. Jump right in.
